This will be a new trip in 2010. It's a river that's been on our list for a decade, and now we'll finally get to run it. The water is legendary: 85 miles of continuous whitewater, crystal clear, and ending at the ocean. This trip is for experienced whitewater paddlers only.

Itinerary

We'll meet at the field school Saturday morning, June 5th. We'll leave at 11:30 am. You can meet us in Presque Isle at the airport if arriving by bus or plane.

There is a flight that gets in at 12pm - US Airways flight # 4723. If you're flying in on Saturday, make sure you're on this flight. There is a second flight that gets into Presque Isle at 4:45. Don't take this flight as you'll be too late and miss us!

After the airport pickup at 1pm, we'll caravan north to the border. A passport is mandatory. If you don't have one, you won't be able to cross the border.

We'll continue to Bonaventure, spend the night camping, and get an early shuttle to the put-in on Sunday morning.

We'll spend the week paddling, and on Friday we'll take out by noon. Friday afternoon we'll head back to Presque Isle and will be able to drop people off there, before returning to the field school Friday night, June 11th.
