Located in the remote mountains of northeast Maine just a stone's throw from the Canadian border, Crosby Pond and the surrounding mountains have been a destination of our winter trips since 2001. Wildlife abounds in the area, and we commonly spend a good part or each day tracking and reading the landscape. The combination of lake, bog, and mountain ecology make for a diverse group of habitats that support a wide variety of animal species.
