The course
begins at 9 AM on Saturday morning and run until 3 PM on Sunday. Participants can camp on-site or find accomodations locally.

- Fire theory and application
- Twig bundle method of firelighting
- Fire by friction and percussion
- Commercial fire starters
- Basic carving projects
- Netting
- Navigation: modern and barehanded
- 7 essential bush knots
- Making cordage and rope
- Edible and useful wild plants
- Packframe construction and use
- Basic tracking
Primitive, traditional, and modern techniques will be covered.
